Buckeye Receives ILTA’s Safety Excellence Award

In 2024, for the second consecutive year, Buckeye was recognized by the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) for our safety performance during ILTA’s annual conference.  ILTA’s safety awards recognize terminal operating member companies for outstanding safety performance.  For two consecutive years, we maintained an employee Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.05, exceeding our internal target and significantly outperforming the industry average of 1.4. To receive the ILTA Safety Excellence Award, companies are required to score in the top two quartiles for both the leading indicator survey and the lagging indicator survey (OSHA TRIR data).

Our impressive safety performance over the years showcases our steadfast commitment to safety, compliance, and the reliability of our assets.
