Integrity Management Program

Buckeye’s Pipeline Integrity Team assures the safe operation of the pipeline system in compliance with all federal and state regulations and oversees Buckeyes’s Integrity Management Program (IMP).

For most of its length, the pipeline system is buried in the ground out of sight.  Areas where the pipeline is visible include tank farms, meter sites, valve stations, and other areas where you can see the facilities as you drive or fly by.

Pipe and Tank

Pipeline Integrity consists of the specialized fields of Corrosion Control Engineering, Risk Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Pipeline Inspection.  The Pipeline Integrity Team actively manages programs in these fields to ensure that the pipeline facilities are safe and protected from natural and environmental hazards.
