     Buckeye has an experienced staff of engineers that can take a project from feasibility studies through commissioning. A staff of over 40 engineers in our home office, including electrical, mechanical and civil engineers, drawing and mapping assistance, ROW supervisor supplements the engineering staff in Houston. BGC’s staff can:

• Determine project scope and direction after thorough feasibility and economic evaluation of all options.
• Secure funding for projects, internally or external.
• Design facilities in accordance with applicable codes and client specification and requirements.

     Buckeye has extensive project management and construction experience. We have a comprehensive health and safety system yielding an excellent construction safety record. Our role as an experienced pipeline operator assures the operability of the system post-construction. BGC can:

• Acquire necessary pipeline rights-of-way, easements, surface sites, permits, and rentals for new construction.
• Purchase materials required for projects in accordance with the design specifications.
• Prepare job scope, written procedures, and specifications for construction of facilities.
• Obtain all necessary construction permits required by governmental agencies.
• Negotiate and award contracts to construction contractors based on job description and specifications.
• Develop and implement site health and safety plans to insure that project construction activities are performed in accordance with company and OSHA safety regulations.
• Manage project spending and maintain project budgets.
• Monitor/inspect construction activities to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner while maintaining quality assurance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project inspectors.

     BGC is financially strong, and can provide complete project financing for a wide range of projects. Our Master Limited Partnership structure allows financing to be procured at lower than market rates, which can save money over the life of a project. Buckeye is flexible and creative with various methods of financial support, including:

• Operating Leases
• Capital Leases
• Sole ownership (Private or common-carrier)
• Limited partnership

     BGC operates over 2400 miles of pipelines through two state-of-the-art control centers, each manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With nearly 30 years of operations experience in the Gulf Coast, our customers enjoy cost savings through synergies of our shared staff. We provide:
